Hi,

That's the data of the categories. Scroll down in your CSV and you should see the data of the products too.

Products are not exporting at all through export button into a properly formatted CSV. It exports as a csv with all products, categories...well everything in one cell....

I had that issue with Excel, no matter what I did.
Downloaded Libre office and it all worked.
If you don't like that then export the file to a new csv or xlsx file and the use Excel.
Save that as a csv and you can import back in.
Why that is the case ask Microsoft. ;-)

Hi,

It's because different versions of Excel default to different separator with CSV files, and it doesn't try to auto detect it either.
So if the default separator of your version of Excel is not the same as the default separator in HikaShop, this problem will happen. But there are many ways to avoid that:
- you can check the default separator of your Excel
- you can check the separator used by HikaShop (there is a setting under the Files section of the HikaShop configuration page, in order to choose that)
- you can use the Excel import tool which will bring an interface similar to LibreOffice where you can select the separator to use ( support.microsoft.com/en-au/office/impor...ce-937b-339e391393ba )
