confirmation email missing items on shopping cart

for some reason the order confirmation email only shows 1 item of the order, if you have more than 1 item all other items are missing.

do you have any idea why this could be happening?

I've never seen that.
We would need more information on the problem.
Are you able to reproduce that on our demo website ? If not, if you create similar products, are you able to reproduce the problem ? How are your products configured ? Files ? Options ? Characteristics ? etc
