Controlling module display

Hi there, just looking at your demoshop and I notice that the set of modules displayed are always the same in different areas of the shop. See how the featured items module is displayed down the bottom on the homepage at www.demo.hikashop.com/index.php?lang=en and on the sitemap page at www.demo.hikashop.com/index.php?option=c...=1&Itemid=99&lang=en .

Is it possible to have different modules showing on different pages? It would be great to put the featured products module at the top on the home page, then make it disappear on a product page. That way the customer focuses on the product.

So can modules be displayed in this way, like in joomla, or is it that once the module is enabled it is displayed in the same place throughout the shop, no matter what link is clicked? If it's the latter, is there a workaround or could the feature be added?

Thanks in advance for replies!

Hi kiwi2b,

Modules can be showed on different pages, like in jommla.
Because you can display them or not with the Joomla options.

In hikashop, you set the type of the module. The size, number of columns ....
And in Joomla you set the place of the module, and on which pages it has to be displayed.
