HikaShop shows in English language despite having set everything to German

Hi,

We have happily used HikaShop solution for a full year now, but recently noticed a really annoying issue with the language. Our shop remains in English (also confirmation emails) even though we have set everything to German.

Joomla and Language packages are updated to the latest version.

My main menu is set to German.
All Hikashop Menus are set to German.
My Joomla default Language is set to German.
My whole Hikashop Backend is in German.
I even put the German language file into the English Override.

Can you please advise.

Hi,

I can see on your screenshots that the language texts of HikaShop are properly displayed in German.
So that means that Joomla finds the HikaShop German language and uses it for the texts when the current language is German.
This means that on your frontend, the current language is not German.
In fact, if I check your website frontend, HikaShop's interface is in German:

So I suppose that everything is properly setup already.
It's probably just that the language of the user account you're logged in with on your frontend is English. So edit the user account via the Joomla user manager and check the language setting.
