-- url of the page with the problem -- : mugge-p.dk/
-- HikaShop version -- : 4.3.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.22
-- PHP version -- : 7.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : FireFox

Hi
I have tried using the e-ticket function and almost everything works for me.
I get the email with the ticket and QR code, but when I scan it, I get Invalid Serial.

I assume I have made some error in the GroupAssociation - HikaSerial Consumer plugin
I have set the Access Level to Super User (myself)
Set the pack to the right pack and set the Groups to Super Ueser.

What did I miss?

Kind regards
Thomas

Hello,

Without details regarding your configuration it will be difficult to give you an useful answer.
What is the generated URL ? How did you configured the consumer plugin ? Does your pack generate serials which can be consumed ? Does your serial do have the right status ?
Many question (and maybe more), which would be easier to solve with some screenshot of your settings and test order.

But this way everybody can scan :-(

Hello,

There is an error in our documentation for the link on the "group filter" consumer plugin.
Here the right URL : www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/3...pfilterconsumer.html

You have to remove the "Access Level" setting (re-set to "all") and just let the "Groups" one.
Then, you will be able to open the URL while logged with a super-user account and it will perform the consumption.

Hi

So I tried this, but I still get Invalid Serial - both as normal user and Super User?

Hello,

Your (last) settings indicates that you need to be logged as a super user to be able to consume the serial.
Please note that you can use the same serial (and URL) for your tests ; you can simply edit the serial in the backend to change its status to "free to use" and then perform a new test.

Regarding your configuration, please note that "public" won't have any effect since it's not a group used by Joomla. Classical users are generally "Registered".

Hi

When I see the e-tickets on the order, they are all ASSIGNED.
I changed them to FREE TO USE, but scanning, both as Super User and Logged Out still gives med INVALID SERIAL.

Thank you for sticking by me on this issue!

Thomas

In the URL I have also added: &confirmation=1, but I never see a confirmation page

Hello,

"Assigned" is also a good status for serial consumption ; but if your serials is "used" it means that you already consumed it.
Without details regarding the final URL you got, it will be difficult to understand the situation.

But it will be interesting to focus on the working and non working cases.
For example : You said that if you unpublished the "filtering" plugin, you can perform the consumption ?

Hello,

As I'm trying to ask in my previous message ; I need to fully understand the situation.
So I'm asking you to confirm what is working and what is not, as the last question in my previous message.

Hi
It's as simple as:

When I have activated groupfilterconsumer I get Invalid Serial when scanning - so NOT working.

When I deactivate groupfilterconsumer I get Serial activated after scanning - so working.

Hello,

Please be sure that you are logged in your website in your device which is scanning the code (and opening the link).
If the scanning is problematic ; you can also copy/paste the URL in your browser where you can be sure to be logged with the correct account.

Hi

I'm sure I'm logged in before scanning, but I still get the Invalid Serial, when I have Groups Consumer activated :-(

I need the scanning option, because it's going to be used for tickets to an event - the option to copy/paste takes way to long.

Kind regards
Thomas

Hello,

I made a test in your website, the system is working perfectly good.
Please note that you must be logged in the front-end part of your website using a super-user account.
I can see that you're using "guest checkout" and that you do not have a direct "login" page in your website ; thus I used the regular Joomla "com_users" URL to authenticate using the credentials you gave us.
Once logged, I was able to call again the URL for the serial consumption and transform the "denial" into a "success".
