Hi
the succes rate for read symbology ( barcode ) using camera is less than 20% .
So using camera is not efficient .. i don't know about webcam .

The best ll be use laser or camera and laser like in the xbox but don't know if such technology can be connect to a google android device ?

Is there some hardware and java software device that could be use for check tickets
there a a few post about device in hikakshop forum .
