Error message on update of HikaSerial latest

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- HikaSerial version -- : 1.8.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.4

Following message pops up on upgrading to the latest Hikaserial (the bugfix for Joomla 3.4.4)

/var/www/vhosts/tangyebooks.co.uk/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_hikaserial/extensions/plg_hikashop_serialperorder/serialperorder.xml

Document is empty

Start tag expected, '<' not found

Hi,

Sorry, I rebuit an HikaSerial package for some modifications for Joomla 1.5 and I made the same mistake than one week ago.
Please re-download HikaSerial and if you still got the problem, please remove the folder :

/var/www/vhosts/tangyebooks.co.uk/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_hikaserial/extensions/plg_hikashop_serialperorder/
