Coupon Assignment "pencil" doesn't open the popup

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.1
-- HikaSerial version -- : 1.10.2
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.11
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : "no popup system found"

Hi,

We can't select the "Discount Coupon Id" in the coupon generator plugin.

In Joomla 2.5 we have "mootools" selected as the Image popup mode. I can't find anywhere else to select a different pop-up mode, but clicking on the pencil in coupon plugin config doesn't open anything. We are not using Bootstrap (if that makes any difference)

In Chrome, the console reports an error "no popup system found".

I'm not aware of any similar issues in other areas (Joomla or Hikashop)

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this please?

Hi,

The issue is not related to HikaSerial but to HikaShop.
Please edit the file "administrator/components/com_hikashop/types/discount.php" and replace the line

window.hikashop.openBox(el,null,(el.getAttribute("rel") == null));
By
window.hikashop.openBox(el,null);

Thanks Jerome - that did the trick, though I don't understand why HikaShop haven't applied this fix to the standard build.

Anyway - I can now generate coupons! :-)

Hi,

Because I guess that they did not detect the issue in their end.
I already submitted the patch to the rest of the HikaShop team ; it might be include in an "hot patch" but it will for sure include in the next release.
