-- HikaShop version -- : 6.1.0
-- HikaSerial version -- : 6.0.0
-- Joomla version -- : 5.3.3
-- PHP version -- : 8.2
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : FireFox

Hi
I have made a copy of another Plugin: pdfserial and is changing the pack - but but this isn't changing: #hikaserial:pdfserial:28 - shouldn't it change to 30 instead of 28?

Besides, when I try to change order I can't - getting an error ...

Any good advice?

Regards
Thomas

Hello,

You have several questions in your message.

1 - The identifier of a PDF Serial

The content "#hikaserial:pdfserial:..." is just using the ID of the plugin entry.
You can see the ID in the url when you edit the plugin instance.
So I don't understand why you say it should be "30" instead of "28" ; I would need more details and context to understand the situation. Because "28" or "30" should be ID and it's related to your website.

2 - Changing the order in HikaSerial plugin listing.

You found a bug in the interface.
The ordering of the plugin is purely related to the listing in the backend, changing the order won't affect anything in HikaSerial behavior (one instance won't be loaded before another).
So, we'll look at the bug but it won't be include as an "hotfix" since it's not critical.

Thank you!
No worries about the bug ...

About the id, so the identifier on that page, shouldn't be the same as the ID of the chosen Pack?
If I make a new PDFSerial and choose that Pack, the ID is the same as the Packs, but not when I copy and old PDFSerial - easier to copy, since I have a bunch of settings I would like to use again.

Hope it makes sense!

Hello,

No, the identifier should NOT be the same of the Pack.
You can select many packs in a "pdf serial" instance ; so the identifier IS the identifier of that "pdf serial" instance and not the packs.

The fact that the ID is the same is just a coincidence, the hasard.
Since they are incremental identifier (just like products, categories, joomla articles, menus...) you will always find 2 elements with the same ID ; even if they are two different types.
