That's the problem. Please put the xml files DIRECTLY in the contentelements folder, not in a subfolder like you did.

ok,
Now all the products are on falang translation list.
The product I translated is published and the state is ok.

Unfortunately, on frontend, there is no translation. I mean that if I click on the english flag the description remains in italian.

Are you able to translate a joomla article via falang and see the result on the front end ?
If no, then there is a problem with the configuration of Falang.
If yes, then I don't see why falang wouldn't display the translations for products.

Hi :(
I have disabled all native language system of Joomla.
I deleted all menù, categories .. etc, etc. translated of Joomla.
I uninstalled Falang.
I installed Falang again.
I have given to the plugin system falang the priority -1
I installed also the Hikashop xml files again.
I tried to translate some articles and some menu of my site.

NOTHING!

If I click on english flag the translation does not appear.

What's the problem?
Please, help! :(

So the problem doesn't come from HikaShop since you can't translate joomla's stuff.
Please try to follow that tutorial of falang:
www.faboba.com/en/composants/falang/installation.html

Here is also some FAQ on Falang problems:

I've seen these yesterday.

Do you think that if you go into my site you can do something?

But... I didn't understand.
Can I use the multilanguage system of Joomla for Hikashop; i mean without any extension?

Hi.
I found it!
I don't know why but the access of english language was on special.
I set it on public and .... all works!
Now I'm going to start all the translations.
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
I'm translating Hikashop.
I found that in Falang > translation and then "content element > hikashop files" and "content element > hikashop products" there are a lot of files empty.
What are they?
Can I delete them?
