Hikashop Dashboard Column Wrapping

-- PHP version -- : 8.3.29

We've started updating some sites to 6.2.0 and noticed a layout change on sites using the HikaShop dashboard. In 6.1.1, our order stat tiles displayed as four columns in a single row. After updating to 6.2.0, the last tile now wraps onto a second row. This appears to be caused by the introduction of the hk-dashboard-row / hk-dashboard-wrapper structure and the way the dashboard grid is now split into separate rows. In 6.1.1 each tile was a direct child of the container, allowing all four tiles to display in one row. In 6.2.0, the tiles are grouped into separate hk-dashboard-wrapper divs with hkc-lg-12 classes, forcing them to stack vertically.

As a result, the dashboard effectively defaults to a three-column row, which breaks dashboards that previously relied on a four-column layout.

Thank you,

Hi,

I do not have the issue on my end.
I properly have the 4 tiles horizontally displayed.
Could you try adding this CSS:

.hk-dashboard-wrapper {
	padding-left: 0;
	padding-right: 0;
}
in your backend in order to see if it helps ?

Otherwise, could you provide a backend access via our contact form in order to check the CSS ?

I added the suggested CSS to test, but it did not have any effect on the wrapping behavior. I looked into this a little further and it seems that “Current orders” tile is wrapped in its own .hk-dashboard-wrapper with a separate .hk-row. When I move this tile in the browser inspector into the .hk-row containing the other three tiles, the layout immediately returns to a single row of four tiles.

I also noticed a new element, #hikashop_dashboard_stat_report, rendered in the same .hk-row as the separated “Current orders” tile. This element does not appear to contain any visible content and seems to be what is pushing the “Current orders” tile to the right in the original screenshots I shared. This element does not exist on our site running 6.1.1.

After moving the “Current orders” tile into the upper .hk-row, the empty report element does not appear to cause any layout issues.

I can look into getting you backend access if you think that is needed.

**Also as a quick note we updated a second site to 6.2.0 this morning and am running into the same exact issue on that site as well. The layout is exactly the same as what I described above.

I appreciate your help! Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for the extra details. I think I know what the problem is. I've made a patch which should help.
Please download the install package of HikaShop on our website and install it on yours and it should fix the issue.

Thanks for such a quick update! After applying the patch, the wrapping issue is resolved on the dashboard within the HikaShop component. However, the HikaShop Dashboard module we use on the Joomla admin home dashboard is still showing the same wrapping behavior.

Thank you for all your help!

This seems to have fixed the issue on all of the sites we've upgraded to 6.2.0 in the module and the component.

Thank you!
