It is not possible to download invoices from the order overview

Hello,

When I want to download an invoice from the order overview in the backend and tick a box to select an order, the invoice isn’t loaded or downloaded; instead, the page simply reloads.

I updated the invoicing plugin to version 5.2.0 yesterday, thinking that this might resolve the issue. Before that, I’d been using version 3.0.8 on my site. Unfortunately, yesterday’s update didn’t sort it out, so could it possibly be related to changes introduced in version 6.5.1 to 6.6.0?

We tried to reproduce it with HikaShop 6.6.0, Joomla 6.1 and the latest version of the PDF invoice plugin (5.1.1, there is no 5.2.0 so please check the version shown in the Joomla plugins manager): ticking an order and clicking on the Invoice button downloads the PDF straight away, in the same way as with HikaShop 6.5.1. That part of HikaShop didn't change between the two versions either, so something specific to your website seems to stop the request before it reaches the plugin.

Could you check these points?
- On your screenshot, the Invoice, Actions and Copy buttons look greyed out even though an order is ticked. Do they become active when you tick an order? If they stay greyed out, a JavaScript error is likely involved: press F12, open the Console tab, tick an order, click on Invoice, and give us what shows up in red.
- Does it work in another browser, or in a private window of Firefox with its add-ons disabled?
- Does the Invoice button at the top of the page of an order (when you open it from the listing) download the PDF?
- Do you use a security extension like Admin Tools, RSFirewall or similar? Such an extension can block the request and send you back to the listing. Try temporarily disabling it to see if it changes anything.
