Reset product ID to 0

Hi,

Is it possible to reset the product ID to start at zero again? I assume this would need to be reset in the database?

Hi,

Indeed. First, you should delete all your products in HikaShop. Then, in your phpmyadmin, you can edit the table hikashop_product table and "truncate" it. That will reset the auto increment value to 0.

Just trying this and i can't see hikashop_table anywhere in phpmyadmin? Has this changed?

It's the table hikashop_product. Sorry for the typo.

Just tried this and new products still continue to increment their product ID from the original number.

Any ideas?

not to start a new topic i'll just ask my question here

If i need to delete all the products from hikashop through phpmyadmin is it enough just to clean hikashop_product table

or do i need to clean any other tables?

You should also clean the product_category, product_related, variant, and price tables. The file table would have to be deleted for the images but it also contains the images of the categories so you might not want to clear it.
