[SOLVED] categories list and list effect

Hi,

on the left side of my eshop i display the list of all categories having products available. However the default list style is used (collapse, expand effect).
i didn't find out where to switch off the effect i guess managed by some javascript like jquery.

i just would like to have for this part of my website, a simple list of categories (main + sub categories).
how can i achieve that ?
