Hi, I would like to include a color palette/swatches as the colors listed in the characteristics. There are a couple of sites who sell the same products that have this on their product page. Is there any extension or component available? Will you be adding this capability in the future? If not, how can I find someone to create a color palette for my product page? Here is an example of what I need.

There is no color picker in HikaShop.
You can create a characteristic so that the users can select colors. But it won't display images of the choices.
It would be possible to have a 3rd party developer do that for you as a plugin/override.

That's something we're thinking of adding in the future.

Hi has this been implemented?

I really need to show the colour swatches as in this example:
http://www.btcactivewear.co.uk/store/index.pl?submit=View_ITEM&sfn_spc=62035

Or is there a way I can create some html code into a custom field and put the data into that from an external site?

It has not.

You can do it with custom HTML yes.
You can even add it in the description of the product.
It should be like that:
<a href="URL_OF_THE_VARIANT">
<img src="YOUR_IMAGE_URL" />
</a>

where YOUR_IMAGE_URL is the URL of your image, and URL_OF_THE_VARIANT is the same link as the product page link but with the id of the product replaced with the id of the variant (you can get that on the variants listing, via the "manage variants" button of your product page).
