Hi there,

The easiest way for you to see what it looks like is to create a product in Hikashop with everything you need and then export it in a csv file.
You'll thus have the best sample for your future cvs :)

There is a sample.
Excel is able to read that kind of file.

Im in the same boat as you Rippon, the csv file makes no sense to me. I have around 2000 products and i want to add product details, when i export the csv file as suggested above to get the corrsct format all i get is dots and dashes and colons and semicolons... its eaither gonna take some mucking about to figure through it all or their is an easier way to make sense of it.

the file is good, if you like to have a better view with it, delete the non-important collums, thats what i do.

You should open your CSV file with excel or openoffice calc and not with notepad as you can't read anything with notepad in a CSV.
