Category, Product & Brand sub-menu items

My site can be viewed here . When I hover over Categories I want a little pop out field to appear showing the three in place types: Role-Playing Games, Figurines & Statues and Board Games. How would I go about doing this. I also want to do a similar thing for the Products and Brands listing.

Perhaps the developers would be well served to include this aspect in future releases. Give the site developer the option of using the icons in the Main Body (ABC Inc., Test Co., etc.) or of using a drop down menu selector.

Just a thought.
