Filter problem with multiple product listings

Hi,

I made 2 categories, Pics and Fruits (each has 3 products).

I also made 2 new menu items that link to these product listings (ID for pics is 116, and for Fruits 117).

I made one custom field which is a radio button with 3 options: red, green and blue. I assigned this to both categories.

I made another custom dropdown field with values fruit1, fruit2 and fruit3 and assigned this to fruits category only.

Now, how do I make the filter module accept both product listing menus? I tried by putting it "116,117" but it always seem to accept only the first one (that's the way it acts).

So how do I make the filter module recognize both product listing menus, 116 AND 117?

NOTE: Right now I have 117 set as the menu id in filter module (fruits product listing), and now if I am on the homepage and I click on "pics" menu item and go to pics listing, the filter works then even for the pics, but on the homepage it works only for fruits (id 117).

Thanks

Hi,

You should enter in the filter module the id of the products listing menu of HikaShop which displays all the products of your store. That way, the result page will display the results based on all the products and not just based on the products of one category.

Nicolas,

Am I supposed to make that or is it already made?

There is one already made inside Display > Content Menus, called "Products listing" and it is set to show products from "product category" (and my 2 custom categories are inside that), so I gave that ID to filter module but it doesn't work normally.

Whatever I choose in the filter, it just returns the 2 CATEGORIES, pics and fruits (and no, I did not put in the filter module the ID of the category listing by accident, I made sure it is the ID of the product listing that was in content menus).

/////////////// UPDATE //////////////////////

OK I made it work.

The product listing menu was not assigned to any module, for some reason I clicked that and assigned menu listing to that with the same id, which then turned into a module, for which I chose no position but to appear on every page, and now it works (and the "module" is not there in the modules section of joomla).

I don't know what happened exactly but it works, but I think this might be overcomplicating it.
