Hi,

If you're talking about a 11 characters number, that's the VAT number.

If you're talking about another information, you can create a new custom field via the menu Display>Custom fields for it.

Hello Nicolas, you certainly understand but my problem is this, I have to make the playing field VAT mandatory for companies and tax code for individuals. I tried to create a new one but I lose the obligatory nature of the field because if a customer is company must fill in the VAT number and if it is an individual must fill in the tax code. I hope I explained ...

Hi,

Just have a field for the customer to select if he is a company or an individual and then in your VAT field and tax code field, you can use the "display limited to" setting so that each will only appear for one value of the company/individual custom field.
That way, it will allow you to do that.

Hello,

You can find some element in our documentation, more precisely here .
This tutorial will list all custom fields parameters, here you have to follow Nicolas advice to create 2 fields, where VAT field is "display limited" to the user field.

In practice, if I select the tax code field on the game field VAT is automatically hidden.

Hi,

You need to create a custom field of the type "radio" for example, and enter two values for it.
And in the two other custom fields, you need to select the corresponding value of THAT third custom field in the "display limited to" setting.
So it's normal it doesn't work if you don't have that third custom field.
