Brand selection on new product

-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.25
-- PHP version -- : 7.4.14

Hello,
we have noticed that there is a character limitation somewhere that makes the brand selection difficult for brands with 2 characters.
Can you please tell us where we can change this limitation from 3 to 2 so that we can select brands with 2 character names?

Hi,

Go in your PHPMyAdmin and open the table "hikashop_config". There, add a new entry with the config_namekey namebox_search_min_length and the config_value 2
And that's it. By default the minimum length for search is 3 characters which is reasonable in most cases but we anticipated that this would happen, hence the hidden config parameter.
