Hi Nicolas,

I upgraded from the starter to the essential version, and tried to install it but I got the following error:

JFolder::create: Could not create directory
Warning: Failed to move file!

Should I uninstall the starter version first or what am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Hi,

You should not have to uninstall HikaShop.

First, try an install via FTP as explained here:
www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...-install.html#errors

If that still doesn't work, please rename the folders administrator/components/com_hikashop and components/com_hikashop via FTP and try again.

Nicolas,

I unzipped the file and uploaded the folder hikashop in the tmp folder via the ftp and tried to install from the directories but I couldn't. I got this message:

"Please enter a package directory"

It sounds like it is looking for a zip file? Please advise!

Yes, you need to enter the full path of your folder in the path field before clicking on the button to install.

ok, it worked. thanks!

I am sorry but I have a few more questions:
1) when I try to place a test order, Georgia is missing from the states list. I checked the zones - under shipping zones I have Georgia listed. Under tax zones, I have a tax rule for Georgia (to charge tax). Is it possible that this is causing it?

2) I would like to see the shopping cart under the registration and shipping and payment fields
3) is it possible to change the order numbering? So far I got B1 and C2
4) how can I insert the logo in the invoice?

1. You must have changed the type of the zone from "state" to "tax". Set it back to "state" if you want it to be in the "state" dropdown.

2. Then add the "cart" view in the corresponding step in the checkout workflow option of the configuration.

3. You can change it with the "order number format" option of the configuration. But that's only available in the Business edition.

4. You can edit the file "invoice" of the view "order" of your back end template via the menu Display->Views and just add the HTML of your image. Or more simply you could add the HTML of your image in the shop address field of the configuration.

Nicolas,

I changed the position of the cart in the checkout process (I put it in the beginning) and after I enter my information and credit card, I am getting an error no payment methods found even though I already entered that! I have USA as a payment zone. I tried changing things around but I can't make it to work.

Thanks!

Your payment method is not configured properly.
Please check the points of the FAQ on that page:

I have checked these several times but I did again, and I found my mistake - the zone in the basic option of the credit card plugin was set up as USA but using a different id from the original id under countries. The zone set up is a little confusing. I think you can improve that documentation. Thanks for your help and patience!
