**BUG REPORT** ADDRESS ADDED AUTOMATICALLY

Hi, I have mentioned this before but no one could help me with my problem. As soon as a user registers in our website, there's a BLANK TELEPHONE added to his/her address without him/her adding anything to their address. and that way when they go to CHECKOUT, instead of seeing the NEW ADDRESS popup, they don't see anything and that BLANK address is selected for them, so if they finalize the order, the order is made and there's no address for that. This is a major bug right now, because I have to manually remove the blank address added before the user goes to checkout. I remember there was an <SFPRINT> link in the addresses file and I removed that because I thought this happened because of that but I was wrong. It happens even now after I removed that line. What's wrong with my site? Please help me because this is really annoying and I can't stop it from happening.

SITE'S LINK : www.222publications.com/newcatalog

The first screenshot shows you the Address management page in a new made account. as you can see there's an address added automatically but it has nothing and I won't be prompted for a new address in checkout because of this, and after I order, there's no address on my order.

The Second screenshot is a test account I made for HikaShop moderators to test something. You can see even in the backend there's an empty address with a blank telephone added. The other two addresses were added manually by the moderators themselves.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Basically this happened after I hid the Address Information from the registration with css and also made addresses only visible to registered users because I didn't want users to input their addresses on registration. Please help me out with this because it's caused a lot of problems for users.

Thanks, Blessings

Hi,

It's not a blank telephone, it's just a blank address. Your "address_template" display "Telephone:" before the phone number, but all fields are empty.

During the registration in the checkout, it asked for the address information but.. There is no fields at all.
It means that you change the configuration to not display them during the registration.
So when the account is created, it should have the address fields but there are no data. So it create an empty address.

So, that's not a bug. You have to let the user enter his address during the registration.

I want to skip addresses in the registration, and instead only ask for them in the checkout page. That should be possible right? How can I have that? please help me out on this.

I want to have a registration with NAME, SURNAME, EMAIL and PASSWORD and no addresses. And I want to prompt users for their address ONLY in the CHECKOUT. What should I do to have that Jerome? Please help me. This is not how I want it to function. Thanks in advance :)

Dear Jerome, Other supporters

Please help me out with this because it's really annoying. I've prepared more screenshots to show you once more what I'm talking about. First of all, I tried Simplified Registration with Password and that didn't work too. I saw the empty Telephone added to customer's address. and then I UNPUBLISHED telephone form the custom fields and yet again it's added to the addresses. What's whit this? How can I prevent this from happening? I'm putting the site into the hands of customers and it's not functioning correctly. Please take a look at my step-by-step screenshots and tell me what I can do to fix this issue I'm facing. Thanks for your support :)

P.S. if switching to simplified registration with password helps, I need to know how I can add a NAME field to it please. Thank you so much :)

Blessings

*** SOLVED *** the only thing I had to do was disable joomla to hika redirect :) now there's no address on registration and the address popup appears automatically on checkout.
