Shipping Address Without Login/Register enabled??

Hello,

I am wanting to keep the checkout flow pretty simple and similar to bigcartel where it goes straight to paypal and thats it, but how would I go about getting the users shipping address if they are not registered to the site itself? Can i add a address field somehow? Will it complete the sale and not tell me where the customer is located to ship the items off to?

Hi,

In your checkout options you have to use the steps "login - address - payment - shipping", and in the options below disable the login, set the checkout for guest users only.

By this way in the checkout there will only be the address asked, then select the payment method, the shipping one and the user is redirected to PayPal.

If you have only one shipping and payment method enabled, you can enable the option to select the payment and shipping by default. Then with some css properties hide the desired parts, like that the customer will only see the address fields, and the finish button.

I have the business version but it is still asking for a email address instead of just shipping. I just want users to submit shipping and then they get redirected to paypal. No login/register at all

Hi,

This field is required in order to send emails to the customers to give us the payment / order status notification, etc.
If you really don't want this, you can potentially edit this custom field via the menu Display > Custom fields and disable it.

Thanks so much for response Xavier!! I actually figured it out, basically i kept entering a email address that already existed. IS there anyway to give user alert that the email address already exist in the hikashop user database?? If i can get that part figured out everything else is working perfect...thanks so much for your help!
