files run after an order is cancelled/paid

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question regarding the checkout process in hikashop. When the customer is returned to our website from our payment gateway (when an order is cancelled AND when an order is successful) which views do i need to edit so that i can run a bit of code to clear out some custom session variables?

Hi there,

Our payment plugins allow you to choose the return url (in System>Payment methods). So what I would suggest is to write your own file with whatever you want inside and then do the redirection to the home page (or another page). This will allow you to add some code without editing the core files and thus being exposed to issue when updating.

Make sure to specify this return url for every payment method you have though!
