hiding custom fields on add address dialog

I have setup a few custom fields in the hikashop system that display correctly in the checkout process. They display when the customer enters his/her personal details (in order to create an account on the system) - thats fine. However, if the customer presses the "new address" button on the "billing/shipping address" page later in the checkout process, then a dialog box appears with all the fields needed to add a new address together with the custom fields again. How can i prevent the custom fields from displaying in this dialog box (if the user wants to create a new shipping/billing address as it seems pointless to ask them for those custom fields again - in my case anyway)?

I think that you have to add the custom fields in the "user" table instead of in the "address" one, this way he will have to add these informations only one time.
