Template For Checkout Pages

-- Joomla version -- : 3.7.3
-- PHP version -- : 7.x.x

Hi,
I am in the process of upgrading my template (to resolve issues with Hikashop Version and my current template) to one of RCA Theme templates/Gantry5. It is necessary for the upgrade that I can set my default template to the new one so I am able to do the development. At this stage, I setup all my pages to the old template manually (by assigning them) and set the default template to be the new RCA Theme. All seems to be working except for the Checkout pages. Is there a way to set the template for these checkout pages to the old one?

Hi,

Yes. In the HikaShop configuration, you have the "force menu on checkout" setting. Select a HikaShop menu item that you want there, and then, in the settings of that menu item in the Joomla menus manager, you can force the template for that menu item.

Do we have the ability to offer a different checkout based on products in cart?

Hi,

There is no solution for that available.
However, I know that Obsidev ( www.obsidev.com/#about-us ) has developed a plugin for HikaShop to do that exactly and when he demoed it to me a year ago, it worked pretty well.
So I would recommend to check with him what's the status with that plugin.
