Loading animation between checkout steps

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.3

I have been having a few issues with customers "happy clicking" between checkout steps which can potentially mess up their login, payment info, shipping, etc.

Is there any way to add loading animations between each checkout step. For example, a small banner at the top that says "Please wait while your order is being updated" or similar. This will only display while the page is loading.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Might be something good to add in the latest version of hikashop?

Hi,

You're right. I would recommend updating to the latest version of HikaShop and turning off the "checkout legacy" setting. That way, you'll be using the new checkout system of HikaShop, which has loading animations and disable the buttons when used, etc.

Thanks! I'm not sure about updating just yet as my site has tons of customizations to the view files. Hopefully it's something i can implement in the future!
