Total not adjusting

When items are added to a cart, the total is displayed in the hikashop cart module.
This total is the gross charge, minus any discounts.

If there is a coupon used, the total shown in the cart reflects the coupon adjustment. However the total displayed in the hikashop cart module is not affected by the coupon.

Although the coupon adjusted total is shown in the cart, when the customer goes to enter the credit card information (using the processor plugin, in this case stripe), the cart and coupon is no longer visible but the hikashop module is still visible, showing the wrong total.

This leaves some doubt with the customer, who is thinking that they will be charged the full amount and not getting the coupon discount.

This has caused some confusion with my customers, and in at least one case lost sales. I have no way of knowing if this is the only case or one of many. But it's very concerning.
