reCaptcha2 Has Stopped Working: Cannot Connect to Server

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.2

The reCaptcha2 has stopped working suddenly on Account Creation.
Error Message: We couldn't contact the reCAPTCHA server to verify your answer. Please try again.

But the applet is showing a green check mark...

I have disabled the HikaShop ReCaptcha v2 plugin and Account Creation is now working fine.

However, reCaptcha2 is working just fine on the Contact Us form.

Hi,

How can the ReCaptcha still works on the contact us form if you disabled the plugin ?
Or do you mean that you're using another recaptcha plugin for that ?
In that case it could well be that it interfers with the HikaShop captcha plugin.
Also, make sure that you've disabled the Joomla captcha plugin and the corresponding setting in the Joomla user manager options or it won't work properly during the registration.

The contact form is using RSForm and is working fine.
It has never conflicted with Hikashop. I have other sites without this issue.

Joomla's recaptcha plugin has never been used and is off.

That setting is not on either.

This has been working fine on the site since March.

Please provide details to allow us to see the issue directly (test it) and also screenshot of your settings (you can hide your credentials).
We need to understand the situation since we cannot reproduce it.
