-- Joomla version -- : 3.9.22
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.40

Hi,

Adding a new shipping/billing address when in checkout doesn't update when you click "ok". It only shows a list of your addresses - please attached. To make this address selectable the user must refresh the page. Is there a way of making the address update without having to refresh?

I sadly can't share my website at this moment in time.

Thanks,
Josh.

Hi,

Hard to say. I suppose that the radio is there, and the problem comes from the template's CSS/javascript.
Are you able to reproduce the problem with the default template of Joomla ?
If no, then that would confirm my suspicions.
If yes, then it could be a bug that we've fixed already and in that case, updating would be the solution.
But hard to say anything definitive without being able to look at the situation directly.

Hi Nicolas,

I have tried with the default joomla template and I still get the issue. When pressing "ok" it takes you to a list of addresses to edit. Pressing "back takes you to the hikashop user area. Please see attached images.

Hi,

Ah yes, that's indeed a bug we've fixed. You should update your HikaShop. We've made many improvements and fixed many things with the address area on the checkout since the version you're using.
It will then work properly.

Might be a silly question - Can I upgrade from an older version of business to the latest version of essential? The current site running Business 4.0.3 does not use any of the business features.

Thanks

Hello,

There are no silly qustion here, and your question allow us to give a good advice.
First, yes you can update to 4.4 from 4.0, now here, the advice, despite all our efforts, we cannot guarantee that there will be no adjustments to be made after an update.
There are many and many different ways to config, use and custom HikaShop...
And that's why, we always recommend to use a clone of your website to perform on it the update, and process some tests in order to check that that nothing has caused upheaval or hieratic events.

Hope this will answer you.
Regards

Hi Philip, Updating to 4.4 from 4.0 is not what I'm too concerned about. Its more the fact I want to update from a 4.0 business to 4.4 essential. Does business to essential generally work ok?

Thanks

Yes, no worries.
You'll just loose the features of the Business edition while doing so.
