If coupon reduces cart total to zero, sale does not process

-- Joomla version -- : 3.10.3
-- PHP version -- : 7.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : firefox
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No payment methods found

Hi!
If i make a coupon that makes an item 100% off, the user cannot make the purchase and gets a "No payment methods found" error.
What am I doing wrong?

My goal is to make a coupon that makes the item free and charges no tax on the free item and doesn't require a payment method since it's free.

Hi,

Normally, when the cart total amount goes to 0, payment is not needed and thus HikaShop doesn't try to load the payment methods and thus that error should not happen.
Please provide :
- the URL of the shop
- the screenshot of the settings of the coupon to use to reproduce
- any other useful information to reproduce the issue on the shop
- a screenshot of the settings of the payment method you have setup in system>Payment methods.

I'm not able to find the "scout pack" product on your shop and thus I can't test the situation on your checkout.

I tried to register to be able to test but I never got the activation email to activate my user account.
So I couldn't really try.
You must have an issue with your email server.
You might want to turn off the new user account activation setting in the Joomla user manager and check why the emails are not being delivered.
Could you provide an activated user account so that I could proceed ?

Again, I'm not able to reproduce the issue.
However, this time, I was able to go through the whole checkout and it worked just fine.
I ended up on the thank you page:

You can see on your backend the order with the number G1Z60.
Are you sure that you have the problem ?
Could you try again ?
If so, could you provide precise instructions to reproduce the problem ?

Hmm - maybe it resolved by itself?
I was having two issues- one was that the coupon still charged tax on a purchase of zero, then when I set the coupon to include tax so that the total was zero, it would give me the error about no payment ability for zero dollars.

I see your order went through and honestly, I'm surprised LOL

I'll check back if it is resolved and close this "ticket" if it is.
