I see this was raised in the forum 10 years ago.

I have multiple products and have the add to cart module on each page for user convenience and also the add to cart html on each page. For some reason if I add Module 2 via the HTML code, the Product in the cart is module 1?

Can you shed some light please?

Thank you,

Mark

Hello,

We process some test directly on your website, in details we try to add the Module 2 Product in the cart, and with success.
In order to allow us to better understand can you provide these elements :
- A step by step to reproduce your issue (be as detailed as possible)
- Relative settings screenshot
=> Be very specific in your explanation because we have the feeling that we are missing something in your problem, or why this does not correspond to your expectations or your settings.
Please help us clear up any confusion or misunderstanding.

Regards

Thanks for the quick reply.

OK, so - on this page (Module 2) www.schematherapyschool.co.uk/workshops/...ema-therapy-workshop
Go to add to cart button at the end of the page (screenshot attached).

then to the next screen, scroll down and you will see Module 1 has been added and not module 2. (screenshot attached).

So, this only happens on this page and cannot figure out why? Hope that clarifies?

Hi,

I can see you manually added the HTML of the add to the cart button to a Joomla article.
That's fine, however in the URL you have in that HTML, you need to change the "1" after the "cid-" to the id of the product you want to be added to the cart.

The module 2 product's id is "2" so you should use 2 instead of 1 after the "cid-" of the add to cart HTML.

Fantastic, thank you, I knew it would be something simple - was getting confused by item id!

Sorted now, thanks again.
