translation for PRICE_BEGINNING is suddenly (?) shown everywhere

On our website we sell activity-weeks. For families it starts at a price for 1 adult and 1 kid. So I translated PRICE_BEGINNIING to "vanaf" (dutch word for "starts at").
When you add another adult of child, the price goes up.

Now it seems that PRICE_BEGINNING is used differently. Because at first "vanaf" was only shown as the starting price (price without any options), but now it is shown for every price. See the picture (green is correct, red is not).
To be honest I have never noticed it before, so I am almost certain this was not how it was before.
Am I right? And than how can I solve my issue: I want to see "vanaf" only at the starting price, and not by the rest of the options.
