Item Custom Field not displaying in checkout/order despite being configured

Hi
We have set up an "item" type custom field on our store. We have made sure to enable all the necessary display options for it to be visible during the checkout process and within the order details. However, unfortunately, it is not showing up at all on the frontend.
I have attached screenshots of the custom field's configuration for your reference.

I have managed to solve the issue. It turned out to be an old customization in our show_default.php view override that was preventing the custom fields from rendering properly.
