10% discount when choosing invoice

Hello!

Is there a way to automatically give 10% discount to customers that ask for invoice instead of receipt?
There is a custom field "Receipt or Invoice" that the customers have to fill at the checkout.

Hi,

I don't see a way to do that without a developing a plugin for it. If it was a fixed amount, then you could use this plugin:

Now, with that plugin, changing it to generate a percentage amount instead of using a fixed amount would be possible with some light modifications.

Hi,

Just thinking:
Instead of the custom order field, could the solution be to create a second payment method... same type as the regular one, but the new one has a negative percentage (-10) entered? Then customers would make their choice not per custom order field, but by selecting a payment method, and the 10% "discount" would apply or not.
Will require changing the language string in the cart, I guess, but should work unless I'm overlooking something... :whistle:
