How do I put a product search box on the left side menu?

Hi,

You can create a new module of the type search via the modules manager of Joomla. You will also have to publish the hikashop products search plugin.

Then you should make sure that your module is published and assigned to a correct position of your template.

That got the search box displayed on my left side menu, but when I did a search I received this:

Fatal error: Using $this when in object content in:

/home/yourcart/public_html/librtaries/joomla/plugin/plugin.pho on line 102

It might be coming from another search plugin. Please disable all the other search plugins and try again.
