Free showing when variant doesn't exist

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.1.5

From the front end, when I select a variant combination that doesn't exist, the price changes to "Free".

Is it possible to change the message that appears when no variant is found? Either no message or repeat the "out of stock" message? Saying "free" is really not true.

Hi Scott,
You should be able to configure the variant combination that doesn't exist through the "Manage variants" button of your product configuration page, so you'll be able to set the quantity of this combination to 0.
