downloads other server outside root

HI,

I am negotiating about becoming reseller for a new productline. The manufacturer already has his own webshop and for safety reasons has his downloadable files placed outside the root of his server. When we are going to sell his products we will need to get access to the products there.
Is that possible and how would I do that?

Hi,

You can specify a file location instead of uploading a file.
You can use a url (which start with "http://" or "https://") and the customer will be redirected to this url.
