PayFast Payment Plugin

Hello all

Has anyone created a plugin for the South Africa gateway PayFast?

I need to make payments through PayFast and it look's like I will need to create the plugin myself. Is there anyone else who needs a PayFast plugin?

Hi,

You will find a PayFast plugin available here:
github.com/techjoomla/joomla-payments/tree/master/code/plugins
It should work for HikaShop although we haven't tested it yet.

I used the plugin suggested Nicolas. It needed a few tweaks to get it working properly but I got great help from the forums and had the payments working within a few hours.
Have you had any success yet?

Hi
I installed the plugin Nicolas suggested, and have entered my payfast Merchant ID and Merchant Key, but the payment option does not show on the payment screen of the checkout even though it is published.

What am I doing wrong

Please provide a screenshot of your plugin configuration.
For the support on techjoomla plugin, techjoomla are the best ; but we can see if we can have an idea about the problem.

Well, it looks like it should work.
We're actually working on a payment plugin for PayFast for next release of HikaShop. So we'll have a tested and working solution for it in a few weeks... if you can wait until then.

When you say a few weeks, does this mean it should be ready within the next 1-2 weeks or more than a month

The plugin is already done and tested. We're planning on doing the release in september.

It will be included in next version of HikaShop, to be released in 2 or 3 weeks. In the mean time, you can request it via our contact form.

Please note that this plugin is now included in HikaShop. You can just configure it via the menu System>Payment methods.
