google product plugin 500 error

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.23
am i correct in assuming that the reason i get an internal server error 500 when trying to download a google product plugin file is due to the fact we have over 8,000 sku's.....

That's correct. Probably your server's restrictions in memory and execution time are too low for such amount of data to load at once.

Hi,

You need to change the "PHP error reporting level" to "maximum" or "development" in your Joomla global configuration.
At this moment you will get the PHP error instead of a generic 500 error page.

this did not work...tried both maximum and development and still getting a 500 internal server error

Then look in the PHP error log of your website for the Fatal error message relative to that error. That will say if it comes from a memory limit or an execution timeout and you can then ask your hosting company if they can increase the limit.
