-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.juicybike.co.uk
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.0
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.25
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : "Cannot set property 'className' of null "

I seem to have an issue I can't understand with the drop down menu for the cart element.

The site seems to work ok on the home page, though using Chrome inspect element I notice the above error.
Further into the site on www.juicybike.co.uk/index.php/Classic-St...3-last-few-available
the dropdown "cart" doesn't appear and the menu stops working.

I'm a bit stuck as to how to resolve! Any help truly appreciated.

Hi there,

As you are running Hikashop 2.2.2, the first thing I would suggest is to update to 2.3.1 as we solved a lot of bug in the meantime.
However looking at the js errors I don't think it's related to Hikashop. It indeed look more like a bootstrap/jquery issue. It might be a conflict between Jquery and mootools, do you have any extension installed to prevent these conflicts? You can try Jquery easy.

Thanks Eliot.
Unfortunately the guy who installed Hikashop is not answering emails so I can't upgrade without the account details he has.

So, there is an extension that could resolve conflicts between bootstrap and jquery. I'd sooner resolve the cause of the conflict - even disable the cause - rather than install another extension. How should I go about looking for the cause of the conflict?

Did try the Jquery easy plugin which worked on my local iis machine after I disable jquery, but not on the live apache server, using the same options in Jquery easy. That doesn't give me any clues, but someone else might gain some insight?

Update: My template uses Vertex Shape5 (Limelight) and after re-installing that with an update for Vertex, then disabling JQuery through JQuery Easy, all seems good.
I'm less the wiser, and uneasy about having to add yet another extension to the site, so any help understanding would be appreciated, if not needed now the site seems to be working...
Thanks Eliot!
