when debug mode is turned off, the Save button for the content module in admin does not work

when debug is turned on, it saves but I have issues with the module on the front end.
when clicking on buy now from the module, I get be below errors ( buy now form the product page works )

the url it directs to when clicking the module and displaying errors is: index.php/component/hikashop/checkout
where the products page url directs to: /index.php/hikashop-menu-for-products-listing/checkout

Hi,

Do you have a link to your website ?
It looks like the problem comes from your template (citylife) and I can't know like that what is the role of HikaShop in the process.

the issues of saving the module is with the template ( just tested a new install)

I think I worked out what the problem was:
if the Content Display Module is Not on the Hika shop page, the link to check out is incorrect.
but when on the product list page, the module works and links to the checkout correctly.

is this how it is meant to function? or is there a way to get the module to work on an isolated page?

Hi,

I think that you are talking about the cart module. To force a checkout page, you can set a value for the option "Force a menu on the checkout" in Configuration > Checkout
