Payment / shipping selection

Hello,

I have a problem with the selection of the shipping / payment method.
Using my browsers (Firefox and IE) I can select the shipping and the payment method without any problems. But I've asked some friends to check the website and the ordering process. One of them can't change the pre selected method (using IE for browsing).
Does anybody know, if there could be a security problem / setting of the browser and how to fix this problem in the shop settings (the shop should run on almost every browser)?

A further question on this topic:
Is there any possibility to define the preselected method? In my case I have e.g. PAYPAL and BANK TRANSFER) and PAYPAL ist pre-selected and I don't know how to change this pre-selection

Can you give us a link to your website that that we can directly test it through IE ?

The solution will probably be to change the ordering of your payment methods through "Hikashop->System->Payment methods" and set the payment method that you want to be pre-selected on the first position.

Actually it is online only for validating purpose.

I've checked that behavior yesterday by myself - the buttons are not functionally in IE 8.0.6001.18702.
In my version of IE (11.0.9600.17126) all the problems don't exist.

Thank you for the hint with the order of the payment methods - this was the first thing I'd checked - but I wasn't able to generate a specific order of the payment methods. I've tried to activate the single positions in different orders / combinations, but the PAYPAL will be set on the first position in every case. Any idea? (e.g. edit a specific file?)

EDIT: it seems to be a problem when the "Bootstrapdesign" is selected. Radiobuttons are no problem.

what do you exactly mean by "I've tried to activate the single positions in different orders / combinations" ?
You should probably use the "save order" button through "Hikashop->System->Payment methods" and then, use the arrows to change your payment methods order.

Hmmm... very strange... I have now installed the same (problematic) IE8 version on a WinXP system and had the same behaviour: buttons can't be selected. Radiobuttons are Ok.

In my system I can't find any "save order" button or arrows in the menue "Hikashop->System->Payment methods". In the single payment methods there is also no field to define a position. I've tried to define the position by
* unselecting all payment methods
* re-open the "Hikashop->System->Payment methods"
* selection of one payment method
* re-open the "Hikashop->System->Payment methods"
* selection of the second payment method
=> but the order of the method is always the same (I've tried different combinations of selecting/unselecting the methods)

I've attached a screenshot - perhaps some settings are not correct in my shop module?

Sorry for the late reply, can you download the last Hikashop version through our website, install it, and test it again ?

If it still not working, can you test it with one of the default Joomla back-end template ?
