**urgent error** checkout goes back to home page??

URGENT problem?? when checking out after selecting payment or shipping method the cart then goes back to home page with message 'the cart is empty', my customer cannot purchase?? please help soon

the order is NOT processing but just goes back to the home page, when you go back to checkout the order is still there??

Every button pressed goes back yo home page, even pay now??

RIGHT I have now gone back to 2.3.0 and the site works fine!! this has cost me £1,000's in lost orders today!!!

I'm going to have to stick with what I have at present.

Can you advise where I can find (location) of the files that I have altered in Display/Views in a backup? I can locate the originals but not the one's I changed?

I have just updated our site and we are encountering the same problem. If I cannot solve it I will have to regress to the previous version. We place an order, check that we have an item listed in our shopping cart, select the payment method and get to the "Shipping" page and then displays "Cart is Empty" and stops. Cannot process any orders.

I had the same problem and it is fixed in the preview version of Hikashop 2.3.2.
You have to request it as explained here www.hikashop.com/forum/checkout/868584-c...html?start=40#162500

I am still waiting for an answer to know whether the 2.3.2 preview is safe to use on a production site.

Yes the preview is safe to use on a production site. But as always we recommend to have a test environment in order to test the updates before using them in production.
