Hi,
would it be possible, with Hikashop to create a site to collect donations for multiple persons ie :
www.lepotcommun.fr
www.leetchi.com/en

The idea is that different lists are created to make gifts to specific persons
It's not exactly like e-commerce.

  • Anybody should be able to create a list gift for a friend
  • People make donations to the specific list of their friend (they have a specific URL)
  • For confidentiality, there is not a public directory of all lists, but you can search for a person list

Thanks for any advice on feasibility

Hi,

One solution I can see would be to use HikaMarket Multivendor so that each person becomes a vendor and can publish a list by actually creating a product via their vendor control panel.

The donation system of HikaShop Business will be able to be used by the products created so that the persons looking at the website would be able to chip in for a product (a list) and the vendor would then receive the money.

You'll be able to get a commission on the transactions if you configure them in HikaMarket.
If you don't publish the products listings, people won't be able to see the products unless they get the direct link to the product page (the product will be published but no listing will display them).
