Update (overwrite the custom changed parts)

I have the Hikashop Business version for several years.
I did many custom changes during the first 6 month to fit my shops needs. Now when updating, only the places where no custom change was made become updated. I understand that, so the user does not need to make the same changes after every update.
But now I would like to have everything updated and then custom change only where it is needed.
For that I did set up a subdomain, installed Jomal 3 and the latest Hikashop verson.
It was easy to get the Products into the new site but how can I get my customers into the new site?
If I would have to copy each address one by one then it becomes a bigger project as expected.

Is there maybe a different way to update Hikashop (overwrite also the custom changed parts)?

Hope you guys can show me an easy way to do that.

Hi,

To import all the HikaShop data, user and addresses, you can do it via phpMyAdmin.
Import all the HikaShop tables and the Joomla users ones (users, usergroup ...).

This way you will have all you data.

When updating, as you said the customized parts are keeped. But you can backup them and in the views listing just click on the dustbin in order to get the latest version and then apply again you customizations to the views thanks to you backup. Don't copy the content, but see lines by lines what need to be changed.
