Search on customs fields

I want to search on customs fields. The standard Joomla search searches on everything in the Hikashop except on the custom fields.

Even the Hikashop filters are not working on this.

You have to configure your HikaShop search plugin for products to look in those fields. Go to the plugin manager and look for the "Search - HikaShop Products" plugin. Then change which fields it uses when searching under fields, including your custom fields. See image attached.

Not sure if this will fix your Filters or if you need to do something else there. Depends on how you have them configured, as when you set up a filter you choose which fields it will use for each particular filter, including any custom fields.

Everything I try to find is coming back on the frontpage without any results .

I switched the Joomla search off.

But the problem remains: can't find 'BP1646'.

1. For the filter method, you have to check again your filter settings.

2. As Nicolas said, you have to disable the "advanced search module" and use the "search module".

I allways have troubles with Hika filters
