Import export issues after upgrade

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6

We just upgraded and running into a couple of issues.

when we do a product export all categories get exported - please take a look at the attached file (98).

we have removed all products before the export, but the result is the same with products added to hika shop.

The second issue we are having is the following error message when we upload the second attached file (92), which is an export from our old installation.

The column '' is not in the list of possible columns : product_parent_id | product_name | product_description | product_quantity | product_code | product_published | product_hit | product_created | product_sale_start | product_sale_end | product_delay_id | product_tax_id | product_type | product_vendor_id | product_manufacturer_id | product_url | product_weight | product_keywords | product_weight_unit | product_modified | product_meta_description | product_dimension_unit | product_width | product_length | product_height | product_max_per_order | product_access | product_group_after_purchase | product_min_per_order | product_contact | product_last_seen_date | product_sales | product_waitlist | product_layout | product_average_score | product_total_vote | product_page_title | product_alias | product_price_percentage | product_canonical | product_msrp | product_display_quantity_field | product_warehouse_id | product_quantity_layout | price_value | price_value_with_tax | price_currency_id | price_min_quantity | price_access | files | files_name | files_description | files_limit | files_ordering | files_free_download | images | images_name | images_description | images_limit | images_ordering | images_free_download | parent_category | categories_namekey | categories_image | categories_ordering | categories | related | options | configuval | handling | size | color. The column data was ignored

Hi,

You'll see that in the file "_92" you have a coma at the end of all lines.
It is not in the specifications of the CSV format ; HikaShop understand that by an empty column which does not have a name, so it result the error you got.
Please fix your CSV file and in our side, we will see to improve the import in order to handle this particular element.

Thank you Jerome,
The export came directly from another hika shop installation - we did not modify the file (92)

Also did you had a chance to look at the second export which is from the latest version of hika on our staging site?

I just did an export - deleted all products - imported the export from step 1

Hi,

For what I read in the HikaShop import helper ; the import is not designed to create the categories, just the products.
If I understand the global algorithm right ; When you put such empty lines in the CSV ; there are by default "skipped" and stored in a cache variable.
When you have a full product line, if the product use one of the categories, the import will be able to link them if the category does not exist.

It means that you can't have a CSV to just import categories, it has to contains some products too.

Nicolas will be a better interlocutor than me for this part ; he wrote the import system so he know exactly how it is working.
