Hikashop 2.3.4 update is failing

-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.16
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 38.0.2125.104
-- No error is shown-- : While updating my hikashop 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 it fails. The page cannot be displayed after 10 seconds is shown.

While updating my hikashop 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 it fails. The page cannot be displayed after 10 seconds is shown.
File used: com_hikashop_essential_v2.3.4_2014-10-23_20-34-37.zip or com_hikashop_essential_v2.3.4_2014-10-23_20-34-37.tar.gz
Neither are updating, same result. Blank page (404)
What am I doing wrong?.

Hi,

This would indicate that your server restrictions prevent joomla from installing HikaShop because it eats too many resources to extract and install the files (because the HikaShop package is big).
Please follow the procedure for the "install via FTP" as we explain on the link below and that should circumvent the restrictions of your server:
