Hi,

Two months ago when answering one of my question Jérome talked about a bootstrap 3 fix available in the release of HikaShop 3... :woohoo:

Can you inform us about the progress and possible availability date ?

Hi,

Because HikaShop 3 will be a real major release ; it ask for a lot of time and tests :)
We do not have any schedule since we do not have a clear vision of the time it will ask (When doing some "Research & Develoment" we can't estimate the time that the research will take).
HikaShop 2.3.4 already have some bricks for the Bootstrap 3 integration but it's not something final (and not available by default).

Before thinking about integrating Bootstrap 3, which JUI does not offer atm, and which is not needed for responsive, or modern, design at all:

- Fix your stuff, redesign it, and integrate Hikashop more into the Joomla 3 Platform. I mean, no one on the whole planet uses 1.5 anymore...
- Build a LESS stylesheet. And CLEAN UP YOUR TEMPLATES AND THAT CRAPPY FRONTEND CSS FILE! ;-)
- Rebuild that charasteritics handling in the Backend, as you about to do in Hikamarket!
- Build modules for specific tasks! Not one module for everything.
- And... build a DHL Intraship plugin (for real!). Make it paid and I will buy it for sure ;-)

here "official ?" information about version for some llbrary : Backend ( php) and FrontEnd ( css framework) .
Bootstrap version number 3 is not here !!

@jack8: Thank you for your feedback.
1. Improving the design of HikaShop is something we're working on actively, and that includes improving the responsiveness of HikaShop, with or without bootstrap.
2. The characteristic handling has already been rebuilt for HikaMarket 1.5.0 which has been released for a month or so. Next step will be to backport the whole product edition interface of HikaMarket (now that it's working great on the frontend of HikaMarket) to the backend of HikaShop. This goes also into the first point of improving the design of HikaShop.
3. We already have modules for specific tasks when you install HikaShop. They are actually instances of the same module pre configured to do those different tasks so that you don't need to configure them yourself. That way you get the best of both worlds: easy to use modules (just enable them and you're ready to go), and at the same time, lot of options in those modules to personalize them without having to modify their code, or with light weight view overrides.
4. DHL shipping is still on our todo list. Note that we publish an API for shipping plugins and thus any developer can develop it if necessary.
